Spread across 1000 square feet area and one dedicated floor, and with German technology at its finest, our LASIK suite houses one of the world’s fastest 500 Mhz LASIK machines. Equipped with the latest SMARTSURF smartpulse technology.

LASIK is now possible for :

1) All age groups, even presbyopes and even after cataract surgery – The latest hybrid micromonovision algorithm is able to take care of both distance and near glass numbers and is the world’s 1st and only algorithm that can completely reverse near correction.

2) No blade, no cut, no flap, no human touch, no instrument touch LASIK possible – Unlike femto and SMILE technologies that involve human touch, instrument touch and vacuum building which can potentially have harmful consequences, our world’s first transPRK module offers no vacuum or the safest LASIK.

3) Thin corneas and corneas with low biomechanical strength – Unlike femto or SMILE technologies that cannot be done in relatively thin corneas or corneas with low biomechanical strength, our LASIK transPRK is now possible for the above, wherein additional safety is ensured.

4) Aberration or topo corrected LASIK – Most LASIK machines provide aberration free LASIK or LASIK which does not induce additional aberrations. However, they do not correct pre-existing aberrations in the cornea, hence cannot provide Hi-definition vision. With our integrated SIRIUS camera, aberration or topo corrected LASIK is possible with Hi-definition vision.

LASIK SURGERY INVOLVES 3 ESSENTIAL STEPS

LASIK STEP 1: FLAP CREATION

Before starting to fire laser, a corneal flap (CUT) needs to be made.

This step involves surgeon handling, instrumentation, CUT and vacuum build-up, irrespective of whether it is being done with the microkeratome (blade) or the femtosecond (bladeless) way.

However good a microkeratome (blade) or femtosecond (bladeless) technique may be, it is just a means of making a flap and NOT correcting for numbers.

TransPRK or No-CUT-no-blade-no-Flap-no-Touch - involves no flap creation, no surgeon contact, no instrument contact and is the SAFEST & FASTEST form of LASIK available, avoiding all vacuum and flap-related issues. TransPRK can also be performed in relatively thinner corneas.
