Dr. Smitha Krishnamurthy is a Cornea Refractive & Anterior Segment Specialist at Envision Eye Hospital. She pursued her MBBS from MIMER Medical College and DNB in Ophthalmology from Aravind Eye Hospital, Pondicherry. She also undertook a Fellowship in Cornea and Microsurgery from Aravind Eye Hospital, Pondicherry.

She has performed over 7,000 cataract surgeries ECCE, SICS, Phacoemulsification with sound EXPERIENCE in managing complicated cataract surgeries. She has also performed over 150 keratoplasties- Full-thickness and lamellar surgeries. She has sound EXPERIENCE and interest in the diagnosis and management of corneal infective disorders, ecstatic disorders, and ocular surface disorders.

She has actively participated in community services, and has evaluated patients in over 150 ophthalmic camps, and participated in training teachers by bringing awareness about common eye diseases and helping to screen school children.
