Dr. Ankita is an experienced eye surgeon who has completed her MBBS and MS in Ophthalmology from Goa Medical College and Hospital. She Stood 3rd in Goa State in SSC Examination & stood 2nd among girl students in the state. She has been Awarded Dhirubai Ambani Scholarship & V M Salgaonkar foundation scholarship for her academic excellence

• She has received Ophthalmology Excellence prize in 3rd year MBBS, Goa Medical College for being the subject topper. Post her MS in Ophthalmology, she has done her fellowship in Phacoemulsification cataract surgery at K.B.Haji Bachooali Eye and ENT Hospital, Parel, Mumbai.
• She has completed her short term training in pediatric ophthalmology at Jyotirmay eye clinic, Thane under the expertise of Dr Mihir Kothari.
• She is also trained in Intravitreal injections from Aditya Jyot eye hospital, Mumbai under Dr Nakwa.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

Completed a diploma of ophthalmic technology in May 2012. She was first in the batch during the 3rd, 4thand final year of her Diploma in ophthalmic technology. She was awarded the Smt. Taranginee Cholia prize for standing first at the diploma in ophthalmic technology examination at the 62nd Annual convocation of S.N.D.T university.

Dr Gupta is a double fellowship trained Board Certified Ophthalmic Plastic Surgeon. He has trained extensively in the niche specialty of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery and Facial Aesthetics.

Dr Gupta completed his masters at PGI Chandigarh followed by training at the LV Prasad Eye Institute and topped it with an international fellowship at the UCLA Stein Eye Institute, Los Angeles

His main areas of interest are Oculofacial Aesthetics, Eyelid Reconstruction and Thyroid Eye Disease.

He lectures extensively and has 20 peer reviewed international publications

Finished MBBS from the prestigious Nair hospital and Topiwala National medical college, Mumbai. She then did her DNB Ophthalmology followed by a long term fellowship in Vitreoretinal surgery at Retina institute of Karnataka under Rajiv Gandhi University of health sciences, Bangalore. She has cleared the first 2 parts of FICO examination (UK) and has presented papers at various national conferences.

After returning to Mumbai, she worked on refining her surgical skills in the anterior as well as posterior segment of the eye.She has worked at various charitable and private eye hospitals in Mumbai and has elaborate experience in managing ophthalmic patients in the OPD as well as in various ophthalmic lasers, injections and surgeries.

She is associated with Envision eye hospital since 2021 and at present, is working as a Cataract, Lasik and Retina surgeon.
